GSLive and other stuff!

Like hundreds of thousands of others I have been affected by the volcanic ash dominating our upper atmosphere. I was supposed to return to France to see my family for a few days after finishing Gadget Show Live, but sadly I have been stuck in London!

My thanks to everyone who came to the N.E.C to have fun with us, we had a ball and I have enjoyed reading all the comments on Twitter. We even had a few competition winners in, lucky devils! I think the plans for next year’s show are already underway, so if you didn’t make it this time, be sure to come and visit us next year; can’t wait to do it all again!

Although I am not presenting MotoGP for the BBC this season, I am still writing my column for the Daily Telegraph Motoring section and keeping more than a close eye on the paddock. Race organisers Dorna have very kindly sent me a permanent race pass so I may pop along to a few races to hang out with my buddies and see the modern day gladiators in action. I am already missing being there…a lot.

We continue with out Gadget Show filming. Having just celebrated our 150th show, we are trying to make a dent in the next 150! We turned up to the studio a couple of weeks ago to find that the entire show was a surprise challenge, none of us had a clue what we would face, but that was part of the fun and we all loved the experience, hope you will too.

Virtual MotoGP!

Breaking news…1st ever virtual race will take place this weekend on twitter! In the light of the Japanese MotoGP being postponed due to the Volcanic Ash, myself and two friends are organising a #twitgp on the social network site. It will cover virtual qualifying and of course the virtual race on Sunday. Details will become clear on @TwitGP and of course, I shall be back presenting all the action, virtually! Don’t miss it, it’s groundbreaking.

Welcome to the new look…

Well the new site is finally live. I can only apologise for the lack of updates over the last three months, we’ve been getting everything together for the new site and I’ve been incredibly busy with all the GS Live stuff. Anyhow, hope you like it, I’ll be sending many more updates live in the next few days but in the meantime loads of stuff from the old site has managed to make the transition including all my Gallery shots, my Biography and the About sections. Plus if you have any thoughts on the site or improvements, do let me know. I’m fully contactable in the usual way!

Sooze x
