Like hundreds of thousands of others I have been affected by the volcanic ash dominating our upper atmosphere. I was supposed to return to France to see my family for a few days after finishing Gadget Show Live, but sadly I have been stuck in London!
My thanks to everyone who came to the N.E.C to have fun with us, we had a ball and I have enjoyed reading all the comments on Twitter. We even had a few competition winners in, lucky devils! I think the plans for next year’s show are already underway, so if you didn't make it this time, be sure to come and visit us next year; can't wait to do it all again!
Although I am not presenting MotoGP for the BBC this season, I am still writing my column for the Daily Telegraph Motoring section and keeping more than a close eye on the paddock. Race organisers Dorna have very kindly sent me a permanent race pass so I may pop along to a few races to hang out with my buddies and see the modern day gladiators in action. I am already missing being there...a lot.
We continue with out Gadget Show filming. Having just celebrated our 150th show, we are trying to make a dent in the next 150! We turned up to the studio a couple of weeks ago to find that the entire show was a surprise challenge, none of us had a clue what we would face, but that was part of the fun and we all loved the experience, hope you will too.
